Black River Hunt Club

Black River Hunt Club located in Williamsburg County, South Carolina offers memberships that include, duck hunting, deer hunting and dove hunting. Also 4 person duck blinds can be leased without a membership

Duck hunting is our main attraction. The duck hunting tract is 490 acres. Over 300 acres are flooded and of that 120 acres are irrigated corn fields. During duck season there are scheduled hunts each Wednesday and Saturday unless noted prior to the season.

Although duck huntung is our main attractions, Black River Hunt Club includes over 3200 acres. The members enjoy deer and dove hunting also. Lodging is provided for the members which includes the main lodge which sleeps 27. The are also several other houses on the property available for a more private setting. 

Duck Hunting

Over 300 acres of flooded duck ponds. Blinds are available for the 2017-2018 duck season. 

Duck hunts are generally on Saturday and Wednesday. Days may change due to holiday dates or special occasions; announcements will be made prior to each season.

Lodging

The facilities for the club include the Main Lodge, Bunk House and White House.  All of these buildings provide great places for members and their guest to stay.  Bunks are first come, first serve. Large hunting lodge available that sleeps 27 people. With amenities such as indoor and outdoor fireplaces, pool table,  satellite television, internet and a large kitchen.

Deer Hunting

BRHC is a trophy managed property.  All bucks harvested must be eight point minimum with antlers outside the ears. 

Fishing

Fishing is allowed year round at the main lodge.  The Club has over 40 acres of ponds on the property.Fishing in the duck ponds is allowed with exception of duck season.  Care shall be taken not to spook any resident ducks.  

Dove hunting

Dove hunts are generally on Saturday and Wednesday. Days may change due to holiday dates or special occasions; announcements will be made prior to each season.

sporting clays

There is access to a full sporting clays course less than 1 mile from the lodge.

Rifle range on the property for “sighting in” rifles, etc…

full Membership dues

$12,500 yearly
    Black River Hunt Club membership year is March 1st until End of February.  For “full members” a $3,000 non-refundable deposit must be paid by March 31st to hold your spot and the remaining balance of $9,500 is due on or before June 15th for that year. 

Includes duck, deer and dove hunting. Access to the lodging and fishing. Meals provided after duck hunts.
